Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)

Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)

Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) is a highly non-reactive and durable thermoplastic fluoropolymer. It is produced by the polymerization of vinylidene difluoride and is known for its excellent chemical resistance, high mechanical strength, and stability in harsh environments. PVDF exhibits remarkable resistance to UV radiation, oxidation, and corrosion, making it ideal for chemical processing, electrical insulation, and coatings applications. Additionally, it has good thermal stability and piezoelectric properties, which are useful in specialized applications such as sensors and actuators.
