Polyimide (PI)

Polyimide (PI)

Polyimide (PI) is a high-performance polymer known for its exceptional thermal stability, chemical resistance, and mechanical properties. It can withstand extreme temperatures, typically from -270°C to over 300°C, making it ideal for aerospace, electronics, and automotive applications. Due to its excellent electrical insulation properties, PI is often insulated in flexible circuits, films, and coatings. It is lightweight, durable, and resistant to many chemicals, contributing to its use in harsh environments where stability and reliability are critical.
