Lesson 3: Temperature Behavior, Part 2

Understanding polymer temperature behavior inside a mold during the filling phase is an important aspect of successful molding. In the different parts of this lesson we will cover the effect of temperature distribution on packing, cooling, and shrinkage behavior using different polymer materials.

This lesson covers how different material thermal characterizations impact temperature distribution during the filling phase and how variable wall thicknesses affect flow-front temperatures and cavity filling temperatures.
