Kruse Training Launches Mandarin Chinese Version of Online Training Program for Part/Mold Designers and Injection Molders

NAPLES, Fla., September 3, 2019 – Kruse Training Inc., a leading developer of interactive online training programs for part/mold designers and injection molders, has announced the launch of its Circle of Knowledge online program in Mandarin Simplified Chinese. The unique online training program, which includes animation, graphics, voice-overs, written text, and quizzes, will help companies effectively train, certify, and grow the skill sets of plastics industry engineers and machine operators in the growing Chinese market.

“This translation into Mandarin will enable us to meet the increasing demand among injection molders in China,” said Torsten Kruse, president of Kruse Training. “This launch sets the stage for further expansion into international markets with new translations in Spanish (Latin America) and Portuguese (Brazil).

The goal of the subscription-based learning plans is to help develop synergistic teams of cross-trained professionals who can successfully design and mold plastic components. The “focused-learning” system combines animations, simulations, videos, quizzes, and multimedia presentations that build skills and increase confidence for part designers, mold designers, and process engineers.

The new Mandarin version covers a range of topics including Molding Fundamentals, Polymer Materials, Part Design, Mold Design, and Processing. The online program provides a foundational understanding of what happens inside a mold during injection molding so designers and processors can design and produce high-quality parts. Injection molders also gain a general understanding of the basic properties and structures of polymers which will help part and mold designers, as well as processors, make choices to optimize the final part quality.

Kruse Training partnered with Moldex3D, the world’s leading provider of plastics simulation software solutions, to create its interactive online training program. Through visually engaging animations created using Moldex3D simulation software, injection molders can easily learn and understand basic-to-advanced plastics engineering knowledge and techniques, enabling them to forecast potential molding problems and excel in their jobs.

The Moldex3D simulation software gives companies access to predict and evaluate real-life behaviors of plastic parts that were previously impossible. Moldex3D simulation results help facilitate the learning experience of Kruse Training, and enables trainees to enhance their overall expertise.

The goal of Kruse Training is to help companies create a “Circle of Knowledge” to make knowledge flow freely between part designers, mold designers, and process engineers, so each role can benefit from each other’s expertise and fill knowledge gaps. “As the product development cycle becomes shorter, it’s crucial for companies to improve collaboration and communication between different teams in the early development stage,” says Kruse. The online training program permits companies to cross-train professionals from different roles, enabling them to collaborate better and develop synergistic solutions to move design forward with better manufacturability.

In addition to the interactive learning materials, Kruse will also launch an online certification program, which consists of multiple lessons and quizzes, covering topics such as Molding Fundamentals, Polymer Materials, Part Design, Mold Design, and Processing. Kruse Training programs are currently available in English and Mandarin Chinese, and will support Spanish and Portuguese molders in the near future.
